WPH&S Representative – RCS Support Staff
Position Description _ WPH&S Repesentative
Following the recent nationalisation of Workplace Health and Safety Legislation, Real Community Services is now seeking expressions of interest from all Support Staff who are interested in becoming a Workplace Health and Safety Representative (Support Staff). The representatives are elected be fellow staff (at RCS this means the entire Support Staff). The Workplace Health and Safety Representatives role is to primarily liaise with other staff as part of the consultative process to identify health and safety issues and convey these to RCS Management if not already done so.
To choose a WPH&S Representative, an election will be required by Support Staff. Please see below dates;
- · Expression of Interest/Nominations/Applications close: 7 March 2012 5pm
The Return to Work Rehabilitation Coordinator (Maria Romero), Managing Director (Trevor Green) and Client Representative will be responsible for reviewing the applications prior to nominations being accepted and made publicly available.

- · Ballot returned by: 26 March 2012 5pm
- · Ballot counted on : 27 March 2012
- · Rep Announced and formal offer made 28th March 2012
