About the Role

Available Shifts:

We currently have opportunities supporting participants with Community Access and within a Supported Independent Living (SIL). A variety of shifts are available, including day shifts and sleepovers, offering flexibility across different support needs.

What You’ll Bring:

  • At least 6 months’ experience in disability support

  • A valid driver’s licence and your own vehicle

  • Current paid employee Blue Card

  • Current paid employee Yellow Card / NDIS Worker Clearance

  • Current First Aid & CPR certification

  • Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module (or willingness to complete before starting)

  • Full Australian working rights

  • The ability to work both independently and within a supportive team

  • A smartphone with internet access

  • Two recent professional references (from supervisors)

Support Worker- Maryborough

Join the team at Real Community Services, as we grow into the Maryborough region! Real Community Services is a disability support provider committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred services that empower people to live independently and achieve their goals. We are currently recruiting experienced Disability Support Workers to support a participant who has recently experienced a change in care needs. This presents an excellent opportunity to join a dedicated support team from the outset and play a pivotal role in facilitating the participant’s successful transition back into the home environment. About the Role The participant has previously led a highly independent and structured lifestyle and values support workers who are professional, proactive, and able to work autonomously. He appreciates honest communication and prefers staff who can confidently use initiative. This role will suit support workers who understand the importance of balancing support with independence and who can maintain professional boundaries while respecting the participant's personal space, routines, and relationships. Support Worker- Lawnton

We are looking for a compassionate and reliable Support Worker to join our team and support a participant in the Lawnton area. About the Role This position involves supporting a participant with their daily routine, appointments, and community participation. Key responsibilities include: - Assisting with morning routines. - Checking that morning medication has been self-administered. - Providing transport and support to hydrotherapy and physiotherapy appointments on Tuesdays and Thursdays. - Supporting community access and recreational outings on weekends. - Encouraging independence, confidence, and active participation in the community. - Delivering high-quality, person-centred support in line with the participant's individual goals. About You We're looking for someone who is reliable, patient, and genuinely passionate about supporting people to live independently.
